Making my CV/resume stand out: how do I catch the attention of Korean employers?

We're going to be honest honest: Korean employers won’t really care about anything on your resume that doesn’t somehow relate to education, English, teaching English, experience with children, and especially experience teaching children.

Our advice? Leave everything else out. If you truly want your resume to catch the attention of a school director, only describe jobs, volunteer work, and experiences that relate to the categories above. In our experience, Korean employers appreciate simple resumes that clearly outline why you want to come to their school and teach their students.

If you have any questions about how to put your resume together for Korean employers, don’t hesitate to reach out to us. We’ve screened thousands of resumes over the years and would be more than happy to pass along a few pointers.
