Do I need to make a video before my first school interview?
Is it mandatory? No.
Do we recommend it? ABSOLUTELY.
The job market in Korea is competitive, and every little thing you can do to set yourself apart will help you. Taking an hour or two to put together a 2-4 minute introduction video will go a long way with potential employers. A video will not only give them a chance to get to know you better, but you can show the same poise and posture that you would offer in front of a classroom. Also keep in mind that some schools will ask for a video either before or after an interview anyway, so save yourself time later on by completing this task ahead of time. If you send us the YouTube link to your video, we’ll make sure to submit it with your resume and cover letter so that you’re getting the best chance possible of receiving interview offers.
