How will I get from the airport to my school/apartment when I arrive?

Each school has a different protocol for this process, but in general, there are two main ways teachers will get transportation from the airport:

1. Most schools will arrange an assistant that will be waiting for you when you come out of baggage claim. They will take you to the bus terminal at the airport and help you buy the right ticket. Someone from your school will be waiting for you at the bus terminal on the other side, and will take you to the school/apartment from there. 

2. Some schools like to arrange a pickup driver that will pick you up from the airport and take you to your school/apartment.

Please be aware that these final arrival details are not arranged until 1-2 days before your actual flight to Korea. While this is alarmingly last-minute in Western culture, it’s perfectly normal in Korea. In some cases, your airport pickup details may be arranged while you’re physically on your flight to Korea. Don’t worry! There is free wifi at Incheon Airport and we’ll make sure that your school has finalized all the details you need by the time your plane lands.
